Celebrate Earth Day at the Mendocino Winegrape Growers' Showcase

On Wednesday, April 22nd, Mendocino Winegrape & Wine Commission celebrates Earth Day at its 5thannual Mendocino Winegrape Growers’ Showcase. The tasting, which introduces Mendocino County grapegrowers to Napa and Sonoma based grape buyers, will be held at the Fountaingrove Golf & Athletic Club in Santa Rosa from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. More than fifty winegrape growers from Mendocino County, America’s Greenest Wine RegionSM, will showcase vineyard designates, blends, barrel and juice samples.
The quality and value delivered by Mendocino County winegrapes has made the region a favorite source for many Napa and Sonoma vintners, said Rich Schaefers, Mendocino Winegrape & Wine Commission Chairman. Add to that the region’s authentic green credentials: grown by winegrape growers who are long term leaders in the sustainable, organic, Demeter certified Biodynamic ® and fish-friendly farming movements, and you have fruit that is creating distinguished wines at very competitive price points.
The Fountaingrove Golf & Athletic Club is located at 1525 Fountaingrove Parkway in Santa Rosa, California, 95403. The venue was chosen for its adherences to green practice across all of its facilities, including its golf and catering services.
